A cross-border cooperation project to study the impact of music on health. Thanks to the Interreg-Poctep program (2024-2026), we will conduct a multidisciplinary longitudinal study to examine the benefits of music on biomedical-cognitive levels and quality of life. To carry out this ambitious project, we have the collaboration of the University of Minho, Casa da Música de Porto, Santa Casa da Misericordia de Porto, the Portuguese Association of Families and Friends of Alzheimer Patients, Músicos ao Vivo de Galicia Association, Compostela Brain Injury Association (SARELA), and the Galician Association for the Support of Alzheimer’s Patients (AGADEA).
